Celebrate World Animal Day & Fight against Eco-Terrorism

World Animal Day, also known as World Animal Welfare Day or World Animal Protection Day, is a significant annual event on the 4th of October.

It’s been celebrated since 1925, garnering an ever-growing international community dedicated to putting an end to the pointless suffering of all animals.

This day is focused on acknowledging that animals, whether they’re your beloved pooch or a buffalo roaming the plains, are sentient beings with thoughts, feelings, and unique personalities. Their treatment and welfare practices must reflect this recognition.

World Animal Day’s international reach enables us to unite voices worldwide, standing for animal rights and welfare. It paves the way for everyone, businesses and individuals alike, to celebrate this day in various ways.

World Animal Day is a beacon of hope for living creatures across the globe. Stop burning elephant tusks, which results in rising prices and more animal abuse. Dump these confiscated tusks on the markets for prices to drop instead, and halt profits on trade.

It raises awareness about ecosystem protection – striving to sustain the delicate balance necessary for all lifeforms to thrive. It transcends boundaries, uniting minds and hearts across the globe in a shared mission to improve animal lives.

Over the years, World Animal Day has garnered significant victories for animals. In Egypt, the day’s events led to additional clauses in the Egyptian constitution offering rights to animals.

Similarly, in Sudan, parliament introduced new legislation designed to protect animals.

One of the most special things about our communities are the dogs, cats, birds, porcupines and other animal species who live amongst us.

Many of us understand the importance of living in harmony but sadly there are far too many who don’t, which results in immense abuse, fear and suffering for many of our voiceless friends.

Even though they don’t have a voice, it is a human voice they lack. Like any of us they communicate in their own way with each other and also with us, if only we take the time to listen and watch them.

A larger number of them suffer in captivity in cages, on chains and in horrific conditions in pet shops and unregulated breeding centers.

They are also paraded, slaughtered in inhumane ways, held captive and used for entertainment depriving them of their right for freedom, a life with their families and friends.

Until we are able to recognize their rights and consider them as our equals, it will only continue to affect our progress for a better life for all, because what happens to them is what happens to us as a collective and a country.

We must free the enslaved and captive, eliminate the cruelty of the pet trade and protect our wildlife by giving them a safe home to live in.

A lot has changed in the last few years with a greater number of people understanding the importance of living together harmoniously as one, but we still have a long way to go for greater change.

It is what will help us be better, happier and more prosperous in our communities and our country.

We urge governments and other policymakers to halt or prevent damaging actions by calling for better enforcement of wildlife protection laws, promoting severe penalties for wildlife criminals.

Humans threaten wildlife through harassment, habitat degradation, encroachment and destruction, cruel and irresponsible hunting and trapping, capture and killing for profit, incidental poisoning and vehicle strikes, and culling.

AWI works to safeguard wild animals and their habitats, and minimize or eliminate the impacts of detrimental human actions.

Wildlife crime has taken the shape of terrorism and is emerging as a major global threat, a senior officer of the Wildlife Crime Control Bureau (WCCB) said on Monday (September 9, 2024).

From the Islamist Boko Haram and al-Shabaab to the Maoists in central India and extremists in the northeast, almost all terror groups are increasingly funding their warfare from illegal wildlife trade, WCCB Deputy Director Arvind Kumar Chaurasia said.

Humanity cannot — now — avoid troubled and turbulent times. Extreme events will powerfully influence the course ahead, the shape of things to come after the turmoil.

They could help or hinder: provide the moral force for urgent action or preoccupy us with crisis management.

Not only can they bring out the best in us, and connect and empower us, but they also lay bare the social conditions and choices that often cause or contribute to disasters, delivering a societal shock that makes change possible.

The next 20 years will settle this issue. We will know by then the extent to which we are locked into global crises, and if so, what we can do to minimize their impacts and to shape the world that lies on the far side.

  1. As the situation evolves at the moment, wildlife will be destroyed, as well as massive depopulation efforts thanks to Bill Gates and his chem-trail solutions, poisoning the planet for only the rich to survive in already build underground bunkers and other forms of hidden community infrastructure.
